Rankings & data
How often do the rankings update?+
Every day, automatically — rankings, injury statuses, and player data all refresh on a daily schedule (around 7am Central). You don’t need to do anything; the next time you load Rankings it’ll reflect the latest pull. The “updated” date shown at the top of the Rankings page tells you exactly when the last refresh happened.
Where does the data come from?+
Projections come from FantasyPros, layered with real NFL roster and injury data from nflverse and ADP-based draft value from Fantasy Football Calculator, plus live team and status overlays from Sleeper. All of it gets merged into one ranked pool every day.
A ranking looks wrong — what do I do?+
Tell us. Rankings are model-generated projections, not guarantees, and the underlying data can occasionally be stale or mismatched (a trade, a status change that hasn’t propagated yet, etc.). Use the report an issue page — name the player and what looked off, and we’ll look into it.
What scoring formats are supported?+
Standard, Half-PPR, and Full PPR, 4pt or 6pt passing touchdowns, Superflex, and TE Premium (extra points per reception for tight ends) — pick any combination on the Rankings page and the whole list recalculates around it.
Leagues & accounts
How do I sync my league?+
Go to your Account page. Sleeper leagues sync from just your username — every league under it is found automatically. ESPN leagues are added one League ID at a time, using your account’s SWID and espn_s2 cookies for private leagues (public leagues need no login).
Once I sync a league, what changes?+
Rankings highlights which players are on your roster and can hide every player already taken league-wide. Trade Analyzer, Trade Finder, Waivers, and Start/Sit all use your league’s real roster, scoring, and (where available) starting-lineup settings instead of generic defaults.
Can I sync more than one league?+
Yes — every league you sync is saved, and a dropdown lets you switch which one is active across all the tools.
Do you support Yahoo leagues?+
Not yet. Sleeper and ESPN are both supported today; Yahoo's API access has gotten considerably harder for new developers to obtain, so it's on hold for now.
Trade tools & waivers
How does the Trade Analyzer decide if a trade is fair?+
It compares the total value of what each side gives up, using the same ranking/projection model as everywhere else in the app, and reports a fairness percentage plus a suggested tweak if one side is light.
What's the difference between Trade Analyzer and Trade Finder?+
Trade Analyzer checks a trade you build yourself. Trade Finder scans your whole synced league for trades that would help both teams involved, so you can find deals worth proposing in the first place.
Does dynasty mode account for draft picks?+
Yes — in Dynasty mode, both Trade Analyzer and Trade Finder can include future draft picks as trade currency, priced by round and how far out they are. Draft picks don't carry value in Redraft mode, since there's no persistent draft to hold a claim on.
Why does Waivers sometimes suggest a kicker or defense my league doesn't use?+
It shouldn't, for any league with real roster-settings data available (currently Sleeper). If you're seeing this, let us know which league on the report page — it may be a league we don't yet have full roster-settings access for.
Pricing & billing
What's free vs. Pro?+
Free gets you all position rankings, a limited daily Trade Analyzer and Start/Sit, mock drafts, and the injury news feed. Pro adds custom scoring, floor/ceiling and dynasty values, unlimited trade tools, Trade Finder, Waiver Advisor, league sync, and more — see the full breakdown on Pricing.
How much does Pro cost?+
$4.99/month, or $39.99/year (about 33% off the monthly rate).
How do I cancel?+
From your Account page. Cancelling stops future billing; you keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for.
How do I delete my account?+
There’s a self-serve option on the Delete Account page. It cancels any active subscription first, then removes your account.
The app
Is there a mobile app?+
GridironEdge installs as a Progressive Web App on iOS and Android — it works and feels like a native app (home-screen icon, offline page, no browser chrome), without an app store. Visit the app page to install it or try an interactive preview first.
Something's broken or acting weird — what do I do?+
Please tell us on the report an issue page, or email support@gridiron-edge.app. The more specific (what page, what you did, what you expected), the faster it gets fixed.
